Dorothy Colaw
I grew up in Bartlesville. I graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan (Bartlesville Wesleyan College at the time) in 1998 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a certificate in Spanish. I also earned my Master’s of Ed. from OKWU. I have three fabulous children: Chase is 22 and a senior at the University of Oklahoma, Reagan is 20 and works for Bartlesville Public Schools and the YMCA after school program, and Julia is a senior at Bartlesville High School. I have taught in public and private P-12 schools over the past seventeen years, took a hiatus and opened a bakery for nine years, then returned to teaching. My family is from Costa Rica so we travel there as often as possible. I am blessed with amazing friends and a close-knit family. I’m happy to be back at my alma mater working as a professor!
