More than 200 traditional undergraduate students are being honored for their academic achievement during the Fall 2020 semester, solidifying their hard work during an unusual academic season.
The President’s and Dean’s lists serve as a way to honor students who have excelled during a certain term of their education at OKWU. The awards are based on term GPA for students enrolled in twelve hours or more in the term. The President’s List honors those who have achieved a GPA of 4.0 during the term, while the Dean’s List honors those whose semester GPA is between 3.5 and 3.99.
“Students earning a spot on the Dean’s and President’s list deserve our congratulations,” Dr. Dalene Fisher, Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, said. “We are extremely proud of the hard work and dedication this honor represents. High marks such as these indicate students who put forth sustained, consistent effort throughout the semester. We are grateful that OKWU students have entrusted their education to us.”
We’re excited to publish our GPS honors lists after grades for the term are finalized later this month. Expect a GPS list in January.
