Each year, we recognize an alumnus for outstanding accomplishments in his or her profession, as well as service to the church, community, and Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
This year, we are extending this honor to John and Marge Connor, not only recognizing their service to the church, community, and university, but also to the world with their efforts with Global Partners Jesus Film ministry.
As a teen, John lived with his parents in Papua New Guinea. He received a B.A. degree in religion from Oklahoma Wesleyan University, a Master of Divinity degree from George Fox Evangelical Seminary, a Master of Theology degree, and a Doctor of Missiology degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Marge was raised in a pastor’s home. She felt a call to missions following a missions convention at her local church. She earned a B.A. degree in religion from Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
John and Marge have two grown children and four grandchildren.
