A. OKWU’s newly renovated cafeteria offers 4 different meal plan options and range from 10 meals per week to 19 meals per week!

Residential Hall information:
Housing preferences are awarded on a first-come basis. Every effort will be made to honor requests for housing arrangements and roommate preferences; however, the University reserves the right to assign students to rooms based on availability. Note: both students must request one another in order for roommate requests to be considered. Oklahoma Wesleyan University admits students of any age, race, color, national, ethnic origin or non-disqualifying handicap to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school and do not discriminate in any of its policies, practices, or procedures. Housing assignments will be made in early August. Questions regarding housing may be directed to myoung@okwu.edu.
Off-Campus Housing Disclaimer:
Oklahoma Wesleyan University is a residential campus. All unmarried students enrolled for twelve (12) or more hours of academic credit are REQUIRED to live in on-campus housing. Students who are married, living with parents, 22 years of age, or of senior status (90 credit hours or more) may apply to live off-campus. The Housing Committee will review completed applications and only those approved by the committee may live off-campus.
Q: When is the application deadline?
A. The application deadline is May 30. Late applications will be considered, but the theory “the sooner the better” definitely works here. Once you’ve decided to attend OKWU, we want you to connect with our community as quickly as possible!
Q. What majors does OKWU offer?
A. We offer more then 35 majors.
Q. Is OKWU accredited?
A. Oklahoma Wesleyan University holds institutional accreditation with the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing and master’s degree program in nursing at Oklahoma Wesleyan University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
All of the University’s business programs are accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education.
Q. How safe is the campus?
A. Information regarding public safety at OKWU is provided in the annual OKWU Security and Fire Safety Reports. The Security Report includes crime statistics and policy statements as required. Find these reports located here.

A. OKWU is open to students from a variety of denominational backgrounds.
