Financial Services
Preparing Christian leaders in the marketplace.
OKWU’s Bachelor of Science in Financial Services is designed to prepare graduates for employment in a variety of careers, both in the public and private sector. Most of our graduates find employment in banking and financial services as brokers, financial planners, and analysts. Additionally, this degree prepares those students who wish to go on to graduate studies in finance or applied economics. Students develop an understanding of financial markets and institutions, fiscal and monetary policy objectives, and the application of microeconomic and macroeconomic theory to financial decision making.
More than just the numbers.
In addition to excellent instruction by our award-winning faculty, financial services students at OKWU will be challenged to integrate their Christian faith into their learning by reconciling economics guidelines and practices with biblical principles. Our program is structured not only to develop excellence in students’ business competencies but also to build a foundation for career advancement in the highest levels of financial services. Many students of the program choose to continue their finance education in graduate school or sit for one of the many industry certification exams.
Why OKWU?
