Kory Pence

Mr. Kory Pence was named the Vice President for Creative Impact (Chief Creative Officer) in August of 2019 to lead OKWU’s communication and branding strategies. He has expanded OKWU’s capabilities to successfully partner with and impact students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and community through design-driven environments. Kory brings experience branding global organizations, leading collaborative creative teams, and an enthusiasm for students experiencing Christ through higher education. His experience also includes consulting in the private sector through marketing, designing, digital storytelling, and branding for impact initiatives. Additionally, he has engaged students in the classroom, teaching university-level courses in design. Kory holds a Master of Fine Arts in Design from Marywood University and a Bachelor of Science in graphic design from Indiana Wesleyan University. Kory and his wife, Kristen, are the proud parents of two daughters.
