OKWU’s GPS programs have been created with the working adult in mind, allowing students to efficiently balance a full-time job, family responsibilities, and school.
We make this possible by scheduling only one course at a time and making our courses shorter in length to accommodate the same amount of courses in a year as a student attending school full time. Courses at the associate and bachelor levels are only five weeks long, while graduate and doctoral courses are eight weeks in length.
This class framework allows students to focus their attention on each course instead of juggling three, four, or more courses at the same time alongside their normal life responsibilities. We want our students to be successful in their pursuit of a graduate degree.
Affordable
Earning your degree can be pricey, but online courses typically work out to be more affordable than traditionally taught courses. With no need to travel to the campus and less overhead cost on the university’s part, students can expect to pay less to attend an online class.
