What Are My Next Steps?
Traditional Undergraduate
If you’re applying with less than 24 college credits, you must:
- Complete your free application online.
- Request all college transcripts to be sent to OKWU or upload unofficial copies HERE.
- Upload your High School Transcript HERE.
- Request your SAT*, ACT* or CLT* be sent to OKWU.
*You can upload unofficial copies of your score HERE
In order to be accepted, an applicant must meet two of the following requirements:
- High School unweighted GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Rank in the top 50% of your high school class
- 18 ACT or higher | 960 SAT* (EBRW and Math) or higher | 61 CLT or higher
*SAT test taken prior to March 2016 must be an 860 or higher
NOTE: A Placement Test is required if no test scores exist
If you’re applying with 24 college credits or more, you must:
- Complete your free application online.
- Request all college transcripts to be sent to OKWU or upload unofficial copies HERE.
In order to be accepted, an applicant must meet the following requirement:
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
Once accepted, you will need to:
- Complete the FASFA or FAFSA Waiver
- Review Your Financial Offer
- Finish the steps on the Accepted Students Page

Graduate & Professional Studies (GPS)
- Complete your free OKWU – GPS Application
- Have your official transcript sent to us.
If you’re applying with a high school diploma, you must submit your high school transcript, with an official graduation date, and test scores. In order to be accepted, an applicant must meet two of these three requirements:
- A GPA of 2.3 or higher
If you’re applying with a GED, you must:
- Submit an official GED Credential with a score of 165 or higher.
If you’re applying as a transfer student, you will need:
- A transcript of all academic work from every college and university you’ve been enrolled, drop or withdrew from, or attended
- A GPA of at least 2.0
Once accepted, you will need to:
- Complete the FASFA Loan Agreement & Entrance Counseling
- If not using Federal Financial Aid, submit a deposit based upon the program you are pursuing
- Submit a Registration Contract
- Sign your Core Registration Form
